NOBILI
Since 21 November 1973, Southtrade has represented Nobili in Southern Africa. Today Nobili is a market leader and reference point for innovative orchard and vineyard sprayers not only internationally but also in this region. Since 1973 Southtrade has sold thousands of Nobili sprayers. Most of the biggest farming groups in Southern Africa have standardised on Nobili sprayers and depend on Nobili to give them better crop yields at lower costs. Nobili sprayers give better droplet penetration whist using less horse power. That saves diesel and tractor maintenance costs. Nobili offer axial fan sprayers in sizes 550,750, 900, and 1050, or centrifugal fans for low volume applications. Nobili still produces its own gear boxes and fans which is something quite unique. Sprayers are available in sizes 300 lt to 5000lt. In total over 200 different alternatives to choose from. Nobili offers solutions to all sprayer challenges with the most productive results.
Nobili produces over 300 different models of mulchers. These are used in orchards, vineyards, forestry, grass cutting, maize rests, pineapple, and many other applications. In sizes from one to eight meters these 300 models offer farmers and municipalities many different possibilities and horse power options. Nobili is the chosen private label manufacturer for a number of the largest agricultural machinery groups. Also Nobili mulchers are the reference point mulcher in Southern Africa, and also these have satisfied thousands of users in this region.
Nobili completes it range with 35 different models of tractor mounted forklifts. These can be rear or front mounted on most tractors. Besides the normal forklift functions Nobili also offer a hydraulic top clamp option.
Southtrade maintains stock of most of the above machines and their spare parts at all times which ensures prompt delivery. Stocks are also kept at a network of dealers all over Southern Africa.

B-GROUP
In the 1970s Southtrade, begun importing loose spray booms from Gambetti Company based in Imola. After excellent growth, Gambetti was merged with Barigelli, to make Bargam, which in turn is now a part of the massive B-Group. Over these years Southtrade has imported many thousands of booms, sprayers, and in later years even self-propelled sprayers. Today B-Group’s comprehensive range offers a spray solution to any open-field crop cultivation.:

This range is easy to use with minimal maintenance required. Reliability, quality, and most efficient sprayer performance, with strong consideration given to ecology and minimising wastage have placed B-Group amongst the market leaders in Southern Africa. B-Group boom sprayers are manufactured according to all major international standards. B-Group machines, accessories, and spare parts are readily available from locally held stocks. Southtrade’s technical and sales staff are trained by B-Group giving them the competency to offer excellent advice to prospective clients.
MARTIGNANI
Martignani is the world renowned leader in electrostatic and “normal” low volume sprayers. These high performance centrifugal fan sprayers allow farmers to save chemical costs, water, and time, whist improving their spray coverage with less tractor horse power required. Applications include nuts, vegetables, orchards, vineyards, etc.
ANNOVI REVERBERI
Annovi Reverberi, or AR is a family owned internationally renowned specialist pump manufacturer. Southtrade has been working exclusively with AR since 1991 and today AR is well known in all types of farming applications where sprayers are required. AR offers the biggest range from low to high pressure and low to high volumes. Spare parts are readily available at all times.
KASCO
Since the 1980s Southtrade has offered respirator helmets for use in chemical stores and especially for tractor operators involved with crop spraying. This range offers many alternatives that ensure operator safety and it complies with all health and safety regulations. Most options are kept in stock as are the respective spare parts including the chemical filters.
POLMAC
Polmac supplies Southtrade with sprayer accessories including flow meters.
VIBI SPRAYERS
Vibi offers the South African farmer a full range of high quality knapsack sprayers and compression sprayers with very low maintenance. In expensive spare parts and reliability have made this range popular on many farms all over Southern Africa.
BRAGLIA
Braglia has been exclusively supplying Southtrade with sprayer accessories for over 30 years. Braglia offers the highest possible quality that complies with all significant international standards. This range includes state of the art electro-valves; nozzles; anti-drip systems; brass accessories; and much more.
ABIMAC
Borello rakes are used in orchard rows to manage prunings prior to collection or mulching. Many different sizes ensure that all farmers wishes can be accommodated. Borello rakes are robust and ideally suited to tough SA conditions.
BELLON
Bellon supplies Southtrade with all its three point mounted grass and Lucerne mowers. Bellon has been sold by Southtrade in Southern Africa since the early 1980s and is a market leader in many regions. Mowers are offered in many different cutting widths and include disc as well as drum mowers. These are front or rear mounted. Conditioners are also available.
AGROFER
Agrofer deals with the design and the construction of inter-row machines, manure and kompost spreaders, bin trailers for collecting fruit, trailers with stainless steel containers for the transport of grapes, platforms for machines transport and specialized trailers.
Marangon
FERABOLI
After some successful years with grass and Lucerne mowers, Southtrade elected to broaden its range of hay making equipment to include balers and forage harvesters. Feraboli was chosen in that it is a very reputable and old company with 150 years experience in manufacturing agricultural machinery. In early 2001 the first Feraboli round balers and forage harvesters were imported and given to selected clients to test for at least a full season. These trials proved very encouraging and since then Feraboli balers have given Southtrade increasingly better sales penetration.
Today Southtrade offers a number of different round balers from the Feraboli stable. One, two, and three row forage harvesters with grass or maize heads are regular stock are increasingly popular. Rakes and fertilizer spreaders have also been added as standard stock lines.
RONDINI
Southtrade has purchased Rondini fertilizer spreaders since the late 1970s. The models include single disc; double disc; as well as oscillator versions. This range has a proven track record which allows Southtrade to market this with great confidence. Serious maintenance is seldom required.
AGREX
Precision fertilizer spreaders are sourced from Agrex. Over and above these Agrex also offers an excellent range of fertilizer spreaders also for vineyards.
CAMPAGNOLA
Campagnola is one of Southtrade’s oldest suppliers. This company produces pneumatic and electronic tools for olive harvesting and pruning of most types of trees and vineyards. High quality has ensured that Campagnola is the reference point producer. Besides tools, Campagnola also produces compact olive oil presses for boutique farms. Many of these low maintenance olive presses are successfully operating in Southern Africa.
GUARESI
TR TURONI
This company supplies Southtrade with a complete range of measuring equipment, including penetrometers, refractometers, humidity testers, ripeness testers etc. Excellent stocks are always at hard allowing Southtrade to give prompt service.
FRUIT-TEC
Blossom and bud thinning requires many hours of labour especially in stone fruit where chemical thinning is not an option. The process of thinning sometimes requires multiple man handling of each single tree in one pre-harvest season. Fruit-tec with their unique model “Darwin” offers the orchard farmer a massive labour and time saving tool by mechanically thinning blossoms and buds from orchards and very little relative cost. Southtrade has been representing Fruit-tec in Southern Africa since 2011, and since then on-going university trials have proven that Darwin machines not only perform but even improve quality, whilst saving costs. N.BLOSI
Southtrade offers self-propelled orchard management platforms from the company N.Blosi. This range has proven to be the most reliable and robust machine even in the most arduous farming conditions. The N.Blosi machine is designed to mechanise the fruit harvest, but also pruning, orchard management, shade net handling, orchard establishment etc. This is a machine that the fruit farmer will use in every season. By eliminating ladders, picking bags, unnecessary bruising, the farmer will increase efficiency, speed of harvest and reduce costs. N. Blosi is available ex-stock Southtrade.
ARAG
Established in 1976, Arag is now worldwide recognized as the main reference point in the spraying accessories field and in the precision farming area. Southtrade’s cooperation with Arag began in the 1980s. Arag’s catalog boasts more than 3600 items and offers a complete choice. Products include GPS and computers monitoring systems, plastic tank accessories, filters and much more. The high sensitivity toward the market needs plus the customers oriented approach, allowed Arag’s over 300 employees to develop its wide sales network in over 90 countries all over the world.

SFOGGIA
Sfoggia Vegetable Transplanters California and Florida are suitable for the planting of seedling with cone or cubic shaped turfs. The high quality of their components warranty a good planting operation even in difficult soil. They are available in different versions, with single or double toolbar, for a minimum row distance of 25cm, and can be equipped with fixed frame, manual, hydraulic telescopic or hydraulic folding frame.
